I must admit that I like Batum quite a bit.

Of our three most impactful additions, he is the one that we realy don’t know what we will get.

Ibaka will be solid, for Kennard most concerns are injury related.

Batum on the other hand, could be rubbish (like last year) or he can have quite a high upside.

He is a jack of all trades: defense, rebounding, passing, positional versatility. If only he could iron out his shooting to past levels.

I think he has a skillset that fits in many lineups and he will get significant playing time.

When in doubt about Batum, just compare him to Pat, Pat.

Agree. Like to see what we can do at full strength and with our top players without minute restrictions. Tuesday can’t come soon enough.

Also, on paper, we may look worse than last season for casual NBA fan.
But I really like what we have this year.
Kennard & Batum bring decent play-making ability while Serge offer shooting, defense & self-assuredness.
Due to the collapse last season, we have been heavily scrutinized and underrated.
The underdog status may suit this team.
We may surprise many people this season, including our own fan.

“In the 2018-19 season, he was solid (but unspectacular) as a glue guy who can hit an open three, make a simple read to drive or pass, and use his size and length to be a positive defender across multiple positions.”
That’s all we need from him.
