OKC probably would be out of their minds to trading the young, inexpensive Jalen Williams (G) since he just had a better rookie season overall than Shai-Gilgeous Alexander had at the same age of 20 (Thunder will likely be legitimate contenders over the next decade imo).

I like the proposal for Ingram and Murphy, but also cannot see the Pels justifying a move like that for 2 of their best young wings outside of Zion, whom like PG already offers his own plagued history of untimely injury.

But at least you’re keeping eyes open for the correct types of beneficial deals the FO will need to make to impact our situation positively rather than from in-reverse

The thought simply crossed my mind, considering we originally initially drafted him (before quickly trading him for Shai on draft night) and just as he is still very much a young man, may only have just begun to scratch the surface of his full NBA talent before his legal incident.
That is the type of talent we need to target if we are trading one of PJ or KL to improve our teams chances in the future.

I largely agree with your assessment not loving anyone on HOU roster. I second the notion, save for Tari Eason whom in fact reminds me of a young PG himself, and whom i thought the Rockets did not feature enough of in their lineups this season.

Trading only for draft packages leaves me an intensely negative feeling which I’d be less enthusiastic over than targeting existing talent simply because of the chances our FO just ends up botching the requisite draft decisions (as theyve shown a propensity for doing in the past decade or so of recent years, save for a few good selections re: Bridges above/ rightfully targeting Shai*)

Physically, Leonard will never be right. If he holds up until the trade deadline, trade him then. That’s when a contender will overpay with draft choices.

The Clippers need to fix their cap problem under the new CBA. If they don’t they will be totally screwed. Ballmer will demand this to happen. Ballmer learned his lesson on the Shai for George trade.

Rumors are that the Bucks will be after Lue or Monty Williams. I hope it’s Lue so we can recoup the Doc trade.
