Agreed. Shamet is way better utilized with the starters. MM seems like he could feast as a large minute bench guy. I suppose some of it depends on his emotional makeup if he can handle any role that Doc throws his way.

In the regular season we should have Morris start unless its a huge lineup like the Lakers. With Lou and Trez on the bench (and Shamet and McGruder) the bench would need JMG to at least play some D.

I’d love him off the bench in favor or Shamet starting, but Kawhi nor PG want to play PF, and Morris is a great fit for the Harkless role. And according to Ramona it looks like we are not keeping IT on the team. So we’ll have 2 open roster spots for buyouts or Collison.

agreed. he is definitely not Mo. Mo barely takes 1 a game, and even that 1 he sometimes takes, he is usually hesitant. Morris takes up to 6 a game. hitting 38% with more attempts is not the same. i just worry about his ball stopping
