Dare you to keep that one secret Clips.

Originally from Portland so grew up a Blazers fan.

Bill Walton won us our only ring so when he joined the Clippers I began following way back then.

Moved to LA in the early 90s and as a Blazers fan was a Laker hater so I got even more into the Clippers.

My beloved Clyde Drexler won his only ring alongside Sam Cassel in Houston so was STOKED when Sam joined the Clips—which until this last season was the most successful Clippers iteration ever.

Loved it when Sam helped the Celtics beat the Lakers in 2008.

I know for me a big part of being a Clippers fan is my loathing for the status quo and groupthink. If the Clippers can win a chip it will be such a mind fuck for all the metaphysical cowards who glom onto low hanging fruit like the Yankees or the Cowboys or the Lakers, LeBron, Tom Brady etc.

Damn I hope that MRI Thursday is good news!

I’ve been a Clippers fan since reading about this guy Elton Brand knowing the names of ushers and service people at arenas around the league. Something about this unique underdog team spoke to me and I’ve followed them ever since. I really wouldn’t discount the possibility that the Clippers have their first parade in Inglewood in the next two seasons and hope your father gets to attend.

I was upset when Shaq and Kobe divorced, and I became disillusioned with that drama.
Going to a Clippers game was just cheaper and still a great way to watch NBA basketball at Staples Center. I don’t know how I became a Clippers fan, but happy that I am part of Clippers Nation. BTW, trading for Sam Cassel was the start for a rebirth of Clippers Nation.
Nearly 20 years later, my wife goes into labor during the March 2, 2016 22 point comeback against OKC. We weren’t at the game, but our doctor was, and you could hear the crowd behind her when she told us to head over to the hospital.
