Kawhi and Rondo will not repeat the horrible performances they had in Game 5, so I am somewhat confident about Game 6. I also think Carlisle has burned up most of his moves and Ty Lue should now be ready to adjust accordingly at any point in the game and has the personnel to do it.

I hope PG owns up to his getting into early foul trouble when he lost his cool after that blown drive to the hoop. Stupidest and most unnecessary foul of the series due to a momentary emotional breakdown (I think it was his 3rd, that was later followed up with PF#4 soon afterward). IMO, that foul, which moved him towards his 4th PF early in the game cost us game 5 as much as any of the turnovers including several that were also PG’s. If PG were smarter, he wouldn’t have given a dumbass foul to himself like that and could have filled the void that was a Kawhi sub-par performance. No one else mentioned this, so I’m hereby holding him accountable.

I find the way Luka plays with such outward joy refreshing. He came into the NBA a finished product at age 19, which is astounding. Sure he’s arrogant, like Larry Bird with whom he’s been compared was arrogant. All great players have a certain arrogance about them, some just show it more than others. That said I want to whup him and send him packing.

Suns would torch us worse then mavs imo
That was my driving force behind jumping in mavs bracket was avoiding suns who I believed was the true # 1 team out west.
Nuggets even without Murray I felt would be tuff to win against.
Still think even if we lose tomorrow,
The clippers will dangle rondo and or beverlys expirings + out 1st rounder for a pg upgrade like Lowry or something to try to get kawhi to resign. At this point lowry or another added star might not get us out the 1st round next year we’re trying to bite through an oak tree and it ain’t happenin.
Gotta win tomorrow and gotta win our way to the wcf at minimum .
Chip or bust! If we get eleminated
Tomorrow we can start talking about whether we should rebuild or keep being good enough to be over rated and playoff disappointments.
Until then clippers need to blow mavs out 2 in a row for me to have any optimism against Utah .

Even after that horrendous 7 min stretch of the 3rd quarter, we fought back in the last 2 min. of the 4th, and we still could have won it. We can’t give up. Focus on Game 6 only. Don’t worry about Game 7, off season moves or what you are going to eat on Sat. We have to keep fighting.

They did exactly what the clippers did which was choke a big lead.

Bringing in Boogie vs. Zubac. Boogie is a statute now, but at least, quick enough to get set to take a charge. Boogie has a more developed offensive game. Maybe, it is enough to get through those 5-7 min. when the wheels fell off our wagon.
