Regular season B+ if he remains healthy. I will be an upgrade over Bev if he stays on the court.

C+ for the playoffs, although I really hope I am wrong and he has a resurgence.

With the full team (+Kawhi), he won’t have the kind of responsibility he had with the Bucks so I would like some drive and kick, solid defense and veteran presence.

Very interested in the Bledsoe Kennard duo for the second unit, in theory they are quite complementary in terms of skillset.

Yeah man, been buying up plenty of TMann autos. Also Shai rookies and autos. Just got a nice Shai Court Kings auto that looks like a painting.

Picked the usual big guys like Kawhi, PG, Blake, CP3, and Manning but also the nostalgia plays like D Miles, Q, Sam, Cat, Corey, Kaveman and even Quinton Ross and yesterday I got a Danny Granger. The hobby is addicting and so much to chase.

The market is crazy but prices seemed have finally bottomed out.

I probably give it a B. In my mind, there is probably like a 60% chance that Bled is better than PatBev for this team. There is also a pretty good chance that he’s just way more available than PatBev. Still leaves a pretty good chance that PatBev was better so definitely a chance this is a move they regret.

But I also feel like a large part of this trade was clearing roster spots, so it has to be considered what they do with those spots.

I do wonder if there were other ways of making those spots without give up PatBev. Like if you were able to move Rondo and Oturu for Deandre Jordan, it would be a way of balancing the roster and getting your 3rd big man without giving up PatBev. I don’t know if that deal would’ve been on the table, but if the Nets buy out DJ, I would think they would’ve rather bought out Rondo for less. At least feels like that would be a less risky move.

I guess without KL this year, chances are you aren’t going to really be competing for a title, so making more of a boom/bust type of move makes sense. If this was a situation where KL was healthy and seeing how well the Clips played last year, I think I would’ve played it more safe and just tried to keep PatBev.

Unfortunately past performance is the PRIMARY indicator for future performance. Sure you will have outliers, but those are the EXCEPTIONS, not the rule. I would say in the vast majority of cases, players play similar to how they did last season, with maybe some minor positive/negative variation.

I do think in Bled’s case there is good indications that you should be able to look at his overall body of work to estimate how he’ll play, instead of looking at a bad chemistry rebuilding team that was never going to put him in a position to succeed.

He’s also going to be asked to have a much smaller role than in his last few stops, so really what our expectation will be are going to be much lower than say in PHX or MIL. For me the expectations are the main reason he’s more likely to overachieve than underachieve with the Clips.

I have to give past World B. We some credit. I loved the Blake trade. I don’t know if I was writing comments on clipsnation at the time as I was just an observer for seasons until I ever bothered to chime in (some of you wish I never had I’m sure) but if I did it was under my yodafart69 moniker. Anyhoo, I was desperate to get away from Blake and would ponder all sorts of trades. None of the ones I cooked up were ever as bountiful as what finally emerged in reality, so when it happened I was immediately stoked. Danced in a parking lot knowing we were moving on from someone that injury prone. Blake lost my appreciation when he BROKE HIS HAND on our assistant equipment managers face. Do something that moronic and I’m not wearing your jersey. I don’t care how cool your dunk looks, and I’m fantasizing about trading you. The guy he punched repeatedly was rumored to be like.. 5’4”? A little guy. Meanwhile Serge Ibaka is slapping your nuts and you don’t retaliate?

Shot in the dark I give it a B Definitly incomplete trade with not using tpe and also what Bledsoe’s contract and others attached gets us inna trade in the future . Fuck nobody liked the Blake trade Even though it seemed like we totally didn’t get raped, but that trade with others opened up a kawhi plus pg13 clippers squad . Again incomplete grade. Bledsoe is competent enough for an easy B period imo
