Also the refs did everything humanly possible to not eject Draymond.

They’re going for young guys with potential. He fits there and it mite be a better situation for his growth to go to that kind of team.

He’s exactly what they are missing. Hope we keep him or at least use him as a sign-and tradable asset. But yes. A.

I mean maybe I just have super low expectations for guys on a 2-way spot. Feels like Coffey almost skipped a step going from not even on the regular roster to viewed as a guy that almost should be getting regular rotation minutes.

I mean I’m not an expert on the 16th man on every team’s roster, but not sure there was a single other 2-way player in the league that played or had as much success at Coffey, and while doing it for a team that earned the 8th seed in the deep western conference.

We’ll see if he can keep up these kind of stats (might be tough if he stays on the Clippers), but if he does, you almost have to put him on like a top 10 of two-way players since they made that a thing.

We’ve come a long way from not having our own G-League team.

I think he’s pretty clearly outplayed a minimum contract, but in terms of how much he’ll ultimately get, I…have no idea. During the stretch where he looked like our best player I would’ve guessed that a MLE might not even be enough, but he cooled off towards the end of the year, so now I’m expecting he’ll get a contract somewhere around the MLE. Hopefully we can bring him back and he can slowly model his game after RoCo and Batum – the defense and shooting are already mostly there, but his ballhandling and passing need work.
