Saw an interesting take where someone suggested Chicago might now be willing to trade down for Wagler after acquiring Claxton. They got a lot of PFs on that squad already and may value shooting over athleticism. Wouldn’t that be something. I’m going to pretend this is possible until tomorrow just for fun.

definitely not taking them over those teams but lets see if quality players go there for the min for a chance at a championship.

They’re definitely improved, but I’m not taking them ahead of the Pistons, Knicks, or Cavs right now, at least in the regular season. I would put Boston in there too, but they’re apparently trying to trade away Jaylen Brown so a lot depends on what/who they get in return for him. Playoffs are a different story, but there are still so many more dominoes to fall before we get a clearer picture.

Giannis, Bam, Mitchell, Powell, Portis, Wiggins, Larson. That’s a pretty good lineup and the rest will be fill-ins.

We’ll have to wait and see what else Riley cooks up (and Boston for that matter), but I really don’t think Giannis and Bam makes the Heat the favorites in the East. This is really a puzzling move to me, but maybe the Heat were just tired of not having any star-level guys and needed to finally do something post-Heatles.
