He showed he’s still productive and as healthy as ever this past season. The big deal would be not starting and convincing him there’s a chance at a ring.

My #1 oracle when it comes to the NBA who is also a massive Thunder fan mentioned months ago that the Pacers were dangerous. I blew him off for putting too much stock into their three point firepower, but after a closer look he may be right.

They are incredibly deep and have the same alert IQ that the Thunder have and are absolutely relentless. What the oracle also pointed out is that they have athletes instead of ogres for bigs quite similar to what the mavericks threw at OKC last year. OKC doesn’t have anyone to cover Siakam who could do a lot of damage and the Pacers have multiple aces from deep while the Thunder mostly have jacks. Finally, Carlisle is as brilliant as they come which is another added bonus.

Like everyone else I’m sold that the Thunder are a generational talent. But we may actually have a better finals than previously expected. Here’s hoping anyway.

He would be a good get to run the 2nd unit and most importantly. I feel that Ty Lue will trust Brogdon and that trust should limit Harden’s regular season mins to 32 to 34 mins per game. The key for next season should be to limit both KL and Harden to 32 to 34 mins while still being competitive.

Houston – Norm Powell

LAC – Tari Eason, Jock Landale & Aaron Holiday

The real prize for us in this trade would obviously be Tari Eason but Landale could serve as our backup 5. Holiday is just a throw in to make salaries work. Landale is owed another year beyond this upcoming season so taking on his contract should be worth an asset. All in all, I think this is a fair & realistic trade. Houston gets much needed shooting and off of Landale’s deal and Clips get much needed frontcourt help. Also Eason is on the last year of his rookie deal so he is basically an expiring like Norm.
