Not to say he absolutely can’t develop into a PG, but I’d be shocked if Cam did. From what I’ve seen of him he doesn’t have the playmaking instincts or the tight handle you need as a PG, and hasn’t even shown flashes of those skills. In terms of bulking up, not saying he needs to get swole, but he is *really* skinny right now – he’s also super young so even w/o specifically trying he’s likely to put on at least another 5-10lbs of muscle naturally as he ages. He needs the muscle to help him stay on balance through/with contact, or, as Khyber notes, he’s gonna have to get a *lot* more shifty/elusive and develop a quicker release so that he doesn’t have to deal w/ the contact.

I was pessimistic after the first 2 games and still remain so, but I did like what Minnesota did in Game 3 in terms of adjustments. They played up defensively to crowd the foul line area and keep Shai out of that space. Gobert was not in pure drop and it affected OKC more than expected. On the offensive side, Randle was moved out of the point forward role and ball handling was almost strictly handled by Ant or Conley. DiVincenzo and Naz Reid were almost strictly catch and shoot. Ant was able to get past folks early which baited OKC to throw more defenders and then he did a nice job of moving the ball or deciding to dribble to find open space to shoot or drive. That they ran over OKC like an avalanche hit them did give Minny a sense that the gap between the 2 teams may not be as wide as Games 1/2 suggested. That Shannon kid was great, but I note that he played against OKC in 3 games this year and was very productive in 2 wins.

We’ll see how Minny does in Game 4, but a 2-2 series in at least one of these 2 brackets would be nice to see.

Nah I think Mobley is probably better than Zu. The guy Zu had the best argument for making it over is actually James probably

Yes, I was disappointed at that. On the bright side, he was 3rd highest vote-getter outside of the Third Team all NBA. So he is the 18th best NBA player. That’s kinda cool.

I’m on the fence on whether he’s better than Mobley. Also, Sengun is a big-man that got more votes. So in a way Zu is the 4th team center. Sengun? I dunno. Sometimes he looks very good, and sometimes disappears.

Why is no one talking about Zu being robbed All-NBA? Mobley over KAT makes no sense. Zu below Mobley makes no sense. Zu should’ve been 3rd team. Mobley got in and got in too high for being on the 2nd best record team.

I disagree. Too many people make too much about bulking up. It’s the same for both, improve your shot and passing. JM is fine at his size for a combo guard. Cam can play point at his size. No one’s saying anything to SGA to bulk up to shoot through contact and draw fouls. Balance and footwork trumps bulk.

I like Cam Christie. In Jordan Miller and Christie LAC has drafted 2 guys who know how to score the ball. The issue for both will be strength training and being able to either shoot through contact and draw fouls or use evasive moves to re set and let the shot fly with a quicker release.
