Brown needs to show that 3pt shot, his bully ball game is not as transferable versus bigger NBA defenders.

Moussa looks like he could be a 3rd string center, probably not for a win now playoff team though.

Cam can shoot it, he needs to copy the Reggie Miller, Ray Allen, JJ Reddick constant motion catch and shoot game.

I know it’s summer league but it feels good to have clippers’ game back. And they looks good.

Indeed. Doing it once could be called a fluke but repeating even a semblance of that game would create a movement. The tell on JMiller that he’s likely to repeat is his FT shooting. Great form, confidence, takes very lil time. I like 8 for 8.

His problem, assuming he continues to impress, is that he’s not a PF, the position of critical need for many reasons (preserving Kawhi right there at the top).

Can JMiller beat out DJJ? Like to see him give it a go. And, liked his interview where he knew how to string sentences together and made this point: “I want to show the team that I’m hungry.” Seems like a smart, good character guy.

There was a time when the team’s critical need was SF but not now. I’m banking on the FO pulling something off that’ll work for PF. Call it blind faith.

It affords us an opportunity to either include him in a deal to lure another star onto the team or sign him on the cheap and trade another currently more noteworthy piece in such a deal. I hope he burns again tomorrow.

I’m impressed with his progress in three-point shooting. Last Summer League his shot was almost nonexistent, now he shoots like a natural born shooter. I just found out that in g-league he had 41.3% with 5 three-point attempts per game last season. I thought he could only defend, but he’s actually a two-way player. Unfortunately, he is still unlikely to make it into the rotation, since Derrick Jones was signed in his position and role.

What I like about him is he seems to have really good court awareness. When he takes a shot, it feels like he’s already assessed where the other defenders are and what options are available. He’s a good shooter, a fundamentally sound stroke and is confident. I think he can contribute this year. The no dip 3 tells me this is a guy who is a student of shooting and understands what it takes to get optimal form in the speed and chaos of live action basketball. I like this guy. If the Clippers don’t give him a shot someone else will.

Kobe Brown provided a lot of energy and a good overall stat line but I think his 3pt stroke is amiss. I didn’t see improvement from last season. He doesn’t extend his arm consistently up and forward and is not reaching up and out His shooting zone seems so cramped. A lot of his shots look like bricks as a result. However, I’d say that can be worked on, and I do think he has the ability to help win possessions on the floor, which is really what is needed from a backup #4.

I agree on Christie. I saw that first shot and thought, ‘yeah, this guy can shoot at a NBA level’.

I do like that we seem to have more players on this roster that look like they can contribute on the court with the big club. With Paul George not on the roster any longer, I think Lue will have more freedom to integrate younger talent if they continue to work hard and improve on their games. Jordan Miller should definitely get a crack into the rotation.
