I always just try and think back to how Jerome Robinson looked it summer league. While never standing out, I think he put up some decent shooting in summer league, and he did have a good looking shot too. Of course mediocre scoring was always was a little disappointing from the 13th pick, but maybe Jerome went like 46th we’d be a little more excited for him too.

I know different guys, biggest difference probably being Jerome was like 21 already when he was drafted, but Cam still has to show improvement throughout this year before he’s even close to a real roster spot. Jerome just never showed the kind of year to year improvement you’d want to see.

As is, with the idea to continue to try and compete, unless playing time opens up for Bones, yea, I do see him getting moved.

Does something like Norm, Tucker, Bones and Coffey for Lavine work for both sides? Either waive Russ or trade him to the Nuggets for a conditional 2nd round pick?

SG – Lavine, Mann, Christie
PG – Harden, Dunn, KPJ
C – Zubac, Bamba, Moussa
PF – Batum, Brown
SF – Kawhi, DJJ, Miller

I think Christie and Moussa would be better off in the G League. Frees up the roster spot to add a 4/5 backup.

You can just see it. Best recruit since Shai. I’m already confident he will move up considerably in a couple years when they do a mock redraft. Probably to the 1st round.

I think we find a spot for Jordan. There’s something of value there as a break glass 2/3. Hoping Kobe has himself another game or two and would prefer if moose can stick around if for no other reason that we drafted him and he’s improving. I want to give those defensive instincts one more look-see. He’s just got to anticipate better instead of always reacting.

Moose is the one that might get cut if Mo & Kai looks good. I want to keep him but he needs to be supreme switchable defender with a passable offense to offset for his lack of size and to survive in the league. Needs to see how he match up with top big guys.
I like Brown and believe he can be on the court due to his size and BBIQ. If we don’t add more PF, he seems to be the top candidate to get playing time for the young guys.
Miller is really good in SL but he need to show that against elite wings.
Law dubbed him “South Paw Shai”, which is quite tough if all you can show now are good games in G-League & SL.
I like him, no doubt about it, but when defense keep focusing on you, it won’t be easy. I hope he keep pushing and proving himself.
We got good young talents despite lack of hype and lottery pedigree. We need patience and playing time for them to prove their worth. So, the “Let’s see how it goes” is to wait and see whether we give them much-needed chance and how they respond to that. We will find out soon, I hope. 🙂

So, where do you think this goes? Which of these guys (if any) actually makes the big club this season?

These guys just go out there and compete, ready to mix it up against anyone.
It’s impossible to know what can they turn out to be in one year, let alone in 3 or 5 years.
So I’m gonna just enjoy the moment.
We have good young talents in hand. Let’s see how it goes.
