2 assistant coaches are gone. I read on Hoopshype that contract talks have not progressed with Lue. I think Lue wants to leave. How does he leave? That’s where it gets tricky.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Clippers would like Lue gone. Once again, how do they accomplish this without firing him and having everyone come out looking good? Do they “PG” Lue? Do the Clippers let him coach in the last year of his contract?

I think there are going to be major changes. PG is as good as gone. It’s a question of how he leaves.

Sterling was not just a racist PoS – he was a cheapass racist PoS.

Safe to assume he’s going to make decisions just as bad as Sterling, just spending way more money to do so.

Lateral moves too not like head coaching opportunities.

These are highly respected people which raises eyebrows. Perhaps there are other considerations involved but hard not to wonder if it’s something else from within.

This is…discouraging to see. Not necessarily because I think he’s some amazing savior of a coach, but because it seems even more likely that the Clips are going to stick w/ Ty, which also makes me think Ballmer isn’t going to shake *anything* up. Regardless of the coaching staff, a new FO should be priority #1 for this offseason.

Also, I like the assistant coach idea. He’s a guy I’d like to keep in the organization.

Time to go overseas. Or, if they love the guy so much (he’s apparently a good influence on the younger guys), put him on the Ontario (soon to be San Diego) bench as an assistant coach or some other role in the organization.
