If Kawhi is healthy, then great, he will play, but if not, we have to move onward.

TBH, Kawhi will not play the entire season. 45 games if we are lucky. Have him ready for the Playoffs.

So, it is up to the rest of the team to play the rest of the season.

As far as T Mann goes he might be the most likable player on the team and since we can’t aggregate salaries in trades (assuming we keep PG and Harden) there’s just not equal return available on moving him. Norm is probably the most likely asset to move insofar as we could probably get a starting caliber PF in return from a team who has spare parts at that position.

This game made be think the west was very overrated. Clippers would’ve beaten this Dallas team with a healthy Kawhi. Healthy OKC and Minnesota teams were too dumb to defend Dallas properly. It’s only 1 game, but to see Dallas have only 75 points before the white flag went up late in Q4 was startling. It suggests there’s a real gap between the teams that a few x/o changes might not fix.

He and Zu are cornerstone pieces of a team that can make a deep playoff run.

If it were up to me, Clips should extend his contract. He should get a lot more touches/shot opportunities, more minutes on the floor at the point, and he should be cemented as the starting #2. We also need to play more of the style offensively that he tends to when he has the ball in his hands: early pushes up the floor, spreading the ball to the sidelines, and post, better spacing and shot making.

I hope he isn’t traded. It would be a huge mistake.
