However, this team lacks at least one center who can stretch the floor every season. Team’s gonna compromise and run with Theis I guess. Whether it’s as the 2nd or 3rd center, I would love to see them take a flyer on a young athletic guy who may have a shaky 3-ball but tries to shoot it at least. We’re an antiquated team in that regard as well.

Who was having deep playoff runs? Boston, bigs can shoot. Indy with Turner. Minnesota got KAT and Reid. And Dallas got lob threats (emphasis threats) who actually command defensive attention because of how the team plays. Let’s add Denver who could have been top4. And New York ridden by injuries: their centers are major threats as offensive rebounders. Philly and Milwaukee, teams that have the potential to be better. Heck, the Lakers: LeBron and Rui shoot.

Clippers are very far behind. Worse, it seems they’re ignorant about it, don’t value it at all. Plumlee is the obvious choice to replace with a modern center.

This guy would be the ideal 4 next to Zu and may be gettable for Terrance and change. He has a history of health issues (ugh) but my goodness can this young man play. Orlando has two Wagners, Banchero and a resurgent Wendell Carter and don’t need a fifth wheel. Terence would be an ideal fit for what they need too. We absolutely HAVE to do something at the 4 spot. There’s risk here but if he can hold up it would really be something.

  1. Goga Bitadze
  2. Xavier Tillman
  3. Mo Bamba
  4. Biyombo
  5. Luke Kornet
