Bones was miles worse. The team lost more without Russ all season. The team lost more when Russ got injured and Bones played. Heck, Harden was worse than Russ for 2 1/2 months to close the season.

But don’t ever hold him accountable. Keep telling yourself Russ is the only problem and Bones is the saviour lol

How is a winning record, a clear correlation to his injury, a clear leadership void and a large sample size plusminus alongside defensive stats cherry-picking but your one subjective eye-test is accurate?

I also go by the eye test. He looks like a player and I believe his ceiling is higher than he has been credited.

Kobe, Bones, Jordan Miller, and Kai need to be a part of the rotation until it is proven they can’t contribute.

With Lue now in place, I don’t see this happening.

Ballmer seems like he wants to win

I honestly think he cares more about being liked than winning. My guess is that he never fires anyone, no matter how bad they are at their job, because he doesn’t want to have to be the “bad guy” or have the tough conversation. It would also explain why he runs the team like a fanboy with no objectivity.

I’m not even sure winning is top 5 on Ballmer’s list of priorities.
