Once we do that we can only swap one player at a time in any deal which sucks because we’re likely to eat PJ’s contract and Amir and Bones can’t be used as desirable assets to move in a package deal. That only leaves Zu who is untouchable, TM who we can’t get equal return for salary wise, and Norm. But I can’t think of any contending team who could use scoring punch off the bench and has a spare starting-caliber PF we could use other than the Lakers and Rui. Isaac also works and perhaps Orlando could use some bench scoring but folks have a lot of mixed feelings on that one.

I’m going to just keep watching everyone’s ideas about how to mitigate as much of this disaster as possible so we have a story to follow next season.

Bones wasn’t able to get reps that he needed, and having Harden made Russ redundant. Argument could be made for all of the players.

Is it better to have a Honda Accord that is always ready vs. a high performance car that is always in the shop?

PG is a great player, but we really need more consistency for him at his Max price level.
