No more brogdan deal , dude needs surgery. Clippers have to trade Morris now as he’s not going to be a happy camper knowing he was traded. Also one has to think that Paul George is calling Frank asking him what’s up and Frank is saying “no we’re not trading you”
That’s of course unless scoot falls to 3 and portland is stupid enough to want to give it up for pG

So you think kawhi gets us FVV Barnes and og?
I don’t know about that ?
We beat suns in playoffs without pg13 and then kawhi got hurt.

Im for trading pg13 for scoot as I believe scoot will be a stud player.
Im for trading kawhi as well if he can’t stay healthy continuously needs even more load management for another young package where we can get a Barnes type stud to pair with scoot. But rapts are not going to get trade Barnes, they are looking to rebuild retool themselves.
Not going to say this again because I’ve said this a hundred times so this will be my last,
You trade both pg13 and kawhi for young stud/packages by doing this you open up max cap space, you then strike when the iron is hot and sign two healthy star free agents that wanna team up together and at the same time play with the 2young studs that we get from the kawhi pg13 trades …
Now we possibly have a big 4 inwhich two of the players are on rookie deals … this would be ideal for moving into intuit dome and having guys that don’t load manage .

Losing Morris = it’s time! It’s been time!
Losing 30th pick of the draft= Not getting any younger but historically the pick wouldn’t pan out to be more than a manakin in a jersey anyways.
Losing 26 year old Coffey= I worry Winger isn’t as much of a moron as I’ve been calling him for trading Beal for a couple of 2nds. Perhaps he knows what some of us have suspected. Coffey is a pretty good player once given a chance to get in rhythm. I’ll be happy for him if that’s the case, and irritated at our front office, as per usual.

I think the Brogdon move is the 1st of multiple moves to balance out the starting unit around KL and PG13. After this move, I assume that the FO will pivot to the front court.

With Brogdon, we can hopefully put to rest the CP3 rumors and bringing back Russ talk.

Also I love Brogdon’s game, but people forget how injury-prone he is too because he was mostly healthy last year on Boston. I mean if all it takes is MM then great, but even if this goes through I’d still want more moves.

We’re supposedly in talks for Brogdon now? I mean…sure? I guess he’d help, but adding him alone isn’t gonna drastically change our trajectory – the only options for that are either miraculously good health for Kawhi/PG13, or trading at least one of them. W/ that in mind, the rumored Scoot and Simons for PG13 deal would be at the top of my wish list.

Hold up. I haven’t been following the rumor mill much recently (due to my clippers induced depression regarding all things sports these days). Are we actually in the running to trade up to the top 3 in the draft this week? That is so not our MO and I don’t understand how that would make any sense given our current construction (old with none of our picks through 2028). Can someone explain to me why we’d blow it up to get scoot? I know we’re all frustrated with 213, but I am having trouble understanding how this would make sense for us.

Also, I’m generally assuming we can’t do a full blow up (with us trading both Leonard and PG) as we have no picks and very little young talent. I think our best move is reposition and I think we are better off repositioning around PG as we can get more for Kawhi and maybe put together a solid enough roster around PG. If it was possible, a roster with FVV/PG/Anunnoby/Barnes/Zu as our starting 5 would be pretty good and the right fit for a team built around PG and a great next building block in Barnes.
