I think scoot is the 2nd best player in the draft , and Charlotte knows this , I doubt they freefully just take miller and pass on scoot without getting something .. three way trade
We get scoot , blazers get pg13, hornets get miller and draft capital from portland (3rd pick, and a 2nd, and and our 30th if need be

Zion on verge of being an unhealthy bust, ingrim is nice player but I don’t put him in the pg13 tier like you said about jaylen brown. Charlotte is and has been shit forever, reminds me of when we traded Blake to Detroit. Why don’t we just trade pg13 directly to the hornets for 2nd pick to secure scoot?
Nobody signing with hornets , there won’t get a Better wing as good as pg13 to pair with lamelo
Back to pelicans , I’m most interested in trey Murphy and if they wanna throw in herb I’m all for it. They can have pg13 . Murphy is gonna be a stud mark my words!

If they want to “win now” (aka be in the 4-play-in range) w/ Dame than PG plus 30 for Simons+3 seems like a good move for them. I wonder if you could flip another player/contract for another draft pick later in the first (and Ballmer can always buy those 2nds).

Statistically, Zu was among the most credible match ups vs Jokic. Our problem is we are terrible at the #4 and Gordon kills us. If we were to fill the hole at the #4, re-sign Russ and trade in Gordon/Batum/Morris for younger, athletic wings, we could match up with Denver. Kawhi plays at Jokic’s level of efficiency, but Paul George does not. If Jokic has 10 touches in Q4, you’re going to get 9 or 10 quality possessions. With PG, if he has 10 touches you’ll get 6 quality possessions 2-3 TOs and 1-2 ill advised or suboptimal shot attempts (e.g., passing up a layup for a contested 3 by a lesser scorer). That’s really the difference between the teams even if the Clips were to fill the hole at the #4, strategically improve their bench and get a version of Ty Lue who is as engaged as Michael Malone.
