If the Clips can recoup like four 1st rounders plus RJ Barrett for PG, that would probably be something to consider. RJ’s contract is a little crazy for what he is. Definitely strikes me as a puts up stats on a bad team guy, but I mean still a serviceable player and still only 22 years old (same as Bones, even though feels like he’s been in the NBA forever).

Will be interesting what to do with Morris. Problem is I feel like offloading his contract is going to take adding assets to dump his salary. Morris on paper is worth more to the Clippers and not worth dumping assets just to get rid of his contract. But if him and Ty stick around, I really can’t sit through another season of him starting and getting 25+ minutes a night.

My HOPE is they can find someone that will take a flier on him as an expiring contract and can dump him without giving up more than MAYBE a 2nd round pick? Or that he’s just used as salary filler in a bigger deal, and the expiring nature of his contract is actually valuable if the Clips are willing to take on like a contract like Ben Simmons or Lonzo Ball.

Definitely the easiest person who I would not want to see on the roster next season, but I just hope it doesn’t cost the Clips a lot to be rid of him. Unfortunately, he probably burned a bridge with one suitor that would have the capspace to just take on his contract (Spurs).

Doubt the knicks would trade randle considering he’s been a star player with them along with Brunson. Be a major downgrade from Randle to PG13. It’s more like a combination of either of these players, rj Barrett, obi toppin, Immanuel quickly, maybe Quentin grimes and a pick(s). knicks would want to stick with a trio of Brunson, George and Randle.

Basically look at next season as lost but still remain as competitive as we can muster (because we have no incentive to lose). See if it’s possible to get Kawhi right without the pressure of championship expectations. Somehow turn expirings (Morris/Fournier/Covington/Batum) combined with all our picks for a #2 guy. Randle will be viewed as the #3 guy, and a hopefully (somehow dear lord?) healthy Kawhi as #1 obviously.

Celtics were lucky to beat Philly (another miserable franchise) but against a well coached team all thier weaknesses are being exposed. Jimmy is out of these world.
They are the most underachieving team this season for sure. This would most likely be a sweep.

We really should be against Denver at the semis and may the best team win and we should have be able to take of the Lakers at the finals. Not sure even fully healthy we beat Denver but that would have been the best series.
