PG-Kawhi-Nico-RoCo is my fav 4 man pairing on roster by far. Could go huge with Zu, scoring-first with Norm, defense-first with Mann, or traditional with Wall/Reggie

I know it’s just workout video, but Kawhi hitting like 90% handle-cook and step-back threes in practice today. It’s going to be super interesting to see how he may have reshaped his game with the bigger build and potentially more deadly range.

He will be remembered as the crucial part if we can go all the way.
He can be a mentor to any young guys on our team: Coffey, T-Mann, Boston, Preston or even Moose.
IMHO, he can be one of the candidate for our development coach when he retire.

Yea, I hope we get to see a Norm, PG13, Kawhi, Batum, and RoCo lineup at some point this year.

Also I just realized that RoCo is probably a better model for Coffey – Nico’s passing and more guard-like skills are harder to develop mid-career.

I think it’d be cool to see Batum and Covington play together. Both are sneaky and pesky on D and are so smart on both ends. Like to see some improved rebounding zeal from both those guys. Get after it boys.

Draymond is the best glue guy type player in the league, but Batum honestly isn’t that far behind – he essentially does everything you could ask for outside of being a go-to scoring option. Kids need to be watching what Batum does and use him as a model more than guys like Steph (who’s just an outlier in basically every aspect).

Batum has been one of my favorite Clippers the last couple of years, and I never would’ve imagined I’d be saying that when we first signed him – I was worried he’d wind up as the new Josh Smith, Lance Stephenson, and Danny Granger on the Clips, and I’m so happy to be so wrong about that. I hope Coffey is learning from Nico in practice – maybe with enough seasoning Coffey could be the next generation of Clippers’ version of Nico.
