I wouldn’t worry at all about him logging minutes. In fact, my preferred starters are RoCo, Zu, KL, PG and Reggie. Much prefer Mook off the bench shooting his a _ _ off.

While MM is the type of player I typically don’t like, he adds a lot of value to what we do and he seems to be able to calibrate based off our needs. He was a major driver behind our deep playoff run from 2 years ago and I don’t think he should be traded away for nothing.

If we sit 213, RoCo/Batum/Coffey is still quite a formidable wing trio.
Then, we have T-Mann/Boston/Norm as another option, although a bit small for sizes.
Will be fun to watch.

I think we’re going to see a lot of diverse lineups and rotations over the 1st half of the season trying to be careful with Kawhi and working Wall into his role. I would personally be interested in seeing RoCo replace Kawhi in the starting lineup when he rests insofar as he would bring similar size, athleticism, rebounding and defense—sans the shot creation of course. In a lineup like that Mook could do the cooking offensively. Not sure if RoCo would be quick enough to handle elite SFs but it would be worth a try.

Hopefully, his knees will remain good. If he (and other players) can go back to focusing on his strength, Morris will definitely contribute with our full team back. If he can grab a few more rebounds — even better.
Like L. Frank said, you can’t have too many wings. Don’t trade Mook.

If he’s gonna revert to taking more set shots while letting the other guys set the table for him I think he could put up good numbers on high efficiency again. On a similar note, now that our stars are back, I just really, really want to see MM take all the energy he was expending on creating his own (contested) shots off the dribble and redirect that energy/focus into rebounding and defense. At worst, MM could be a trade chip at the deadline, but we absolutely shouldn’t be giving him away for nothing.
