FI and now oturu gonna need assets attached to trade.
With a decent rotational , somewhat nba player, future trade value gonna be higher.

With you on garuba however the chance of selecting a third consecutive center in the first round and the guy falling out the league would completely aggravate the F outta me.

  1. Jared Butler
  2. Usman Garuba
  3. Jaden Springer
  4. Bones Hyland
  5. Tre Mann

I don’t want the Clips to take yet another big man, but Garuba legit looks like a switchable defensive-minded big, who I’ve wanted on the Clips for a while now, and if he slides to 25 (and Butler is gone already) I’d be happy to take him and figure out the wing/guard issues via trade and/or veteran signings.

I have no idea why the Clips would take either of Sharpe or Jokubaitis, but it’s not like the draft component of our FO has a stellar track record (e.g. just look at the last couple of exit interviews)…

Also I’m expecting trade rumors to start heating up even moreso this week (just remember, *everyone* is getting traded to the Lakers), given that the draft is only a few days away. Buckle those seatbelts.
