Theoretically Memphis could have taken him at 57 over Wang Zhelin, who never made the league. I’m not sure that he’s anything more than Wesley Johnson, but honestly if you changed WeJo from a top 5 pick to a 2nd rounder we’d all think he had a very nice career.

At 57, the best you can realistically hope for is a guy who provides depth for like 50 games over their first couple of years.

Get up even into like the 45 range and the chance of getting a legitimate NBA player is quite a bit higher.

I think it’s very possible the Clippers take someone at any position depending on who is there.

I personally would lean towards a point guard due to need, and due to the fact there are quite a few good PG prospects who should slip.
